Working Terms

A signed acceptance of the estimate, payment terms and details of the scope of work is required before commencement of the project.

Work can be received either by:  email attachment, post, fax, hard-copy, floppy disk, CD-Rom, Usendit.com or FTP upload. 

Normal turnaround for general work is 24-48 hours dependent on the size of the task.  Turnaround will be discussed and agreed prior to commencement of   project.  Urgent deadlines for clients can also be discussed.

All documentation will be scanned using Norton Anti-Virus 2003 which is continually updated, however no guarantee can be given and it will remain the clients’ responsibility to ensure they have their own Virus protection.

Final proofreading remains the responsibility of the client, however any mistakes will be rectified free of charge if returned within 48 hours.

Financial Terms

A 50% deposit is required prior to the start of any new project, with the balance being due and payable upon completion. 

Hourly services are invoiced weekly and are payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed.

Retainer Agreements are invoiced 2 weeks in advance of each calendar month and are due and payable prior to the commencement of work.

Payment can be made by personal or business checks, PayPal or direct bank transfer.

The client will be liable to refund any unpaid check charges.

Interest will be charged on any overdue amounts at the rate of 2.5% per month until the account is settled.

All materials will be billed and listed individually on invoices.

Clients will be charged to the nearest 10 minutes and there is a minimum fee of 30 minutes work charged on all assignments unless otherwise agreed.

Confidentiality

It is my assurance that client discretion is paramount.  Confidentiality Agreements can be signed should this be required prior to commencement of work.
